Calcined Petroleum Coke

Petroleum coke (often abbreviated Pet coke or petcoke) is a carbonaceous solid derived from oil refinery coker units or other cracking processes. Calcined Petroleum Coke (CPC) is the product from calcining Petroleum Coke. It is a form of highly electrically conductive, densed Carbon with very low specific Electrical Resistance, and having Fixed Carbon of approximately 98.5 - 99.5%. Raw Coke is Calcined to develop specific properties to make it suitable for industrial purposes. The Calcination (of Raw Coke) involves controlled heating of the Raw Coke to the temperature in the range of 1250°C to 1350°C. This process drives off moisture, hydrocarbons and other volatile matter present in the Raw Coke is burnt off - thereby densified the particles and changes the electrical properties from insulating to conducting. Raw Coke after calcination is known as Calcined Petroleum Coke.
We process quality CPC to match sieve and grade requirements of customers. At times, the product meets 6 different sieve/size parameters. Available in lumps, granules, fines, and powders upto -325 mesh ASTM (99% passing through).
End Use: Carbon pick-up in Foundries, Friction Products, Corrosion Resistant Lining and Products, Clutch Carbon Rings, Aluminum, Graphite Electrode, Steel, Titanium Dioxide and other Carbon Consuming Industries etc.


Natural Graphite

The mineral Graphite is an allotrope of carbon. Unlike diamond (another carbon allotrope), Graphite is an electrical conductor, a semimetal. It is, consequently, useful in such applications as arc lamp electrodes. Graphite is the most stable form of carbon under standard conditions. Therefore, it is used in thermochemistry as the standard state for defining the heat of formation of carbon compounds. Graphite may be considered the highest grade of coal, just above anthracite and alternatively called meta-anthracite, although it is not normally used as fuel because it is difficult to ignite.
Processed in Flakes and Powders upto -325 mesh ASTM (98% passing through). We offer Graphites of natural crystalline flaky and also amophors in nature and fixed carbon ranges from 80 % to 96 %.
End Use: Friction Products, Lubricants, Coatings, Refractories, Pencil Leads, Crucibles, etc.

Synthetic Graphite

Synthetic Graphite is a manufactured product made by high-temperature treatment of amorphous carbon materials. The primary feedstock used for making Synthetic Graphite is Calcined Petroleum Coke and Coal Tar Pitch, both of which are composed of highly graphitizable forms of carbon. Processed in fine granules and powders upto -325 mesh ASTM (99 % passing through). In fixed carbons of 95% to 99% purity.
End Use: Friction Products, Carbon pick ups.

Chemically a hydrated magnesium aluminium silicate, Vermiculite expands when heated to form aultra lightweight aggregate. This product is non-combustible, compressible, highly absorbent, non-reactive and totally inert.

End Use:High-temperature Insulation, Refractory Insulation, Acoustic Panels, Fireproofing of Structural Steel and Pipes, Friction and Brake Products.
